COVID-19 UPDATE
- Taj Mahal has opened after 6 months.
- Opening date officially announced, Monday, 21 September, 2021.
- Opening Timings: 30 minutes before sunrise | 6:00 am
- Closing Timings: 30 minutes before sunset | 5:00 pm
- Tickets will be available via online booking only.
- No ticket can be purchased manually at the counter.
- At present (September, 2021) Maximum 5000 visitors are allowed to visit the Taj Mahal.
- There will be two booking slots – (1) pre-lunch & (2) post-lunch
- In each slot there will be maximum 2500 visitors.
- Visitors will have their body temperatures taken and maintain social distance.
- Visitors must follow the COVID guidelines as laid down by the state.
- Timings may vary season to season so do check with us before planning your trip.

Here are the steps:
- Log in to the official asi site : https://asi.payumoney.com/
Click the Book Now Button on the top and you should see a page that looks like this below.
As you can see by default Under City>Agra is pre-selected
- Select Taj Mahal under Monuments
Now what you need to do next is select Taj Mahal under Monuments.
- Select the options & timings
Under Cart > Select the option most suitable to your needs:
Taj Mahal Only
Taj Mahal with Mausoleum .
Select Visit Date , Note Friday Taj Mahal remains closed.
Select the Visit Time, the time slot most suitable to you.

Why selecting the right nationality important?
Because Indian, SAARC, BIMSTEC tourists come under one entry fare category and the Foreigner come under a different entry fare category.

Upto 20 adults and 10 children are allowed per booking.
Child criteria – upto 15 years age no charges, above 15 years chargeable (so do carry children’s photo id to verify their’s age)
Once you are done with adding.

Most Important Advice
Tip: Don’t forget to carry your photo id in physical at the time of your visit. Or else, forget about visiting the Taj Mahal! (literally). Carry your photo id all the time. As you will not be allowed entry without it. No matter what. - Final Summary of the E-Ticket

Important Information
Your ticket is valid for 3 hours.
You will be charged extra if you cross the 3 hours time limit.
The Taj Mahal is also set to put a cap of a maximum of 40,000 tourists per day.

What to do if after payment online you do not receive the ticket?
- After booking through https://asi.payumoney.com/#/ if you do not get the ticket, then you can use the option of re-generate the tickets, to do the same us the transaction id. Here’s the link.
